International Women's Day celebrations
The Provincial Gender Machinery will celebrate International Women's Day on 7 March & 8 March.

The Women's Caucus of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature will celebrate International Women's Day on Friday, 7 March, by holding a role-clarification workshop for stakeholders involved in gender issues. The workshop will provide insight into the role of the Gender Machinery and the National Department of Women, Children and People with Disabilities. It will include presentations on the Women Empowerment and Gender Equality Bill, and health challenges faced by young women in today's society.
8 March 2014 celebration:
On 8 March, the International Women’s Day celebration will take place in East London and will include a presentation on the provincial equity status.
