Africa Day celebrations - 25 May

Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the 1963 founding of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU)‚ which gave way for the establishment of the African Union. Africa Day presents an opportunity for South Africans to reconnect and recommit themselves in support of all government interventions to develop a better Africa and a better world. The Eastern Cape Provincial Government will celebrate Africa Day by holding a topical lecture at the Phillip Kahts stadium, East London on 25 May.
