The workshop will provide insight into the role of the Gender Machinery and the National Department of Women, Children and People with Disabilities. It will include presentations on the Women Empowerment and Gender Equality Bill, and health challenges faced by young women in today's society. 8 March 2014 celebration: On 8 March, the International Womens Day celebration will take place in East London and will include a presentation on the provincial equity status.
