Public Participation & Petitions Committee visit municipalities

The Public Participation and Petitions Committee of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature will be meeting with Speakers, Councillors and officials from district and local municipalities regarding public participation.

The purpose of the visit includes:

• to introduce the objectives and role of the PPP Committee to the stakeholders with the aim of having similar committees established in municipalities, and,
• to share experiences related to public participation.
