Media Launch: Taking Parliament to the People of Emalahleni

 

Parliament, 14 October 2008 -  From 3 to 7 November 2008 the people of the Chris Hani District in the Eastern Cape will interact directly with Members of Parliament, Members of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislatures and Local Government representatives on a range of social and economic issues impacting on their lives.

 

Preceding that week-long event, on Monday 20 October 2008 Parliament's Presiding Officers and the Speaker of the Eastern Cape Legislature will be holding a press conference to launch the final Taking Parliament to the People programme of the third Parliament.

 

Venue: Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature, Bhisho

Date: Monday, 20 October 2008

Time: 12h30 for 13h00
